In its inaugural year WayHome Music and Arts Festival made a splash in the festival scene. With a wicked line up, amazing backdrop and incredible art projects, we knew that WayHome was going to be something special.


After months of late nights and countless meetings WayHome opened its doors to the public on July 24th 2015. The grounds quickly filled with gasps and awes as concertgoers explored the 60 + acres of land they were going to call home for the next three days.










For The Love of Food had the pleasure of designing the very first WayHome VIP experience. Arguably one of our most unique VIP experiences to date, the area featured a 1920’s barn that had been reconstructed and has become the pinnacle of the Burl’s Creek Event Grounds property. We were extremely fortunate to partner with the world-renowned restaurant festival Taste to bring the best in festival dining. Taste selected The Drake to bring five pop up restaurants to the WayHome site.








For The Love of Food also designed and created the artist backstage experience. Tucked in the heart of a Northern Ontario forest, Anthony Rose and his team served up some of their best dishes to our esteemed artists and their guests. The cozy, rustic space allowed artists to kick back, relax and grab a bite to eat in between sets.


The weekend was filled with music, art, culture, film, and delicious food (from our fabulous food trucks). Year number one for WayHome was one for the books. From the incredible team, to our awesome guests, we already can’t wait for 2016!
