When Jeffrey Remedios set out to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their celebrated record label Arts & Crafts, he knew he wanted to do something big, something memorable and something everyone could be proud of. It would as much of a celebration of our city as it would be a gift to all the amazing people in it.


In its inaugural year Field Trip quickly became well known as Toronto’s festival. With a focus on local music, arts programming, culinary artistry, mixology and activities for the whole family, Field Trip set a new standard for upcoming festivals and celebrations in the city.


Now entering its fourth year as Toronto’s Festival, Field Trip is not only known for great food and music, but also for its kid friendly features and activities.


In 2014, we began “Mess Hall”. Tucked in the heart of Garrison Woods, the incredible Ivy Knight leads guests young and old through different competitions and challenges. Fan favourites include the annual watermelon and corn on the cob eating contests.


Every year guests get treated to a specially curated cocktail created by one of Toronto’s up and coming bartenders. The winner is selected at our Field Trip Mixology competition, which takes place during 86’d Mondays at The Drake Hotel.


The VIP experience at Field Trip has always been one for the books. Featuring different Toronto favourites, this Field Trip was one of the first to have restaurants serving up in a festival environment! Guests with VIP tickets get to enjoy the festival from a one of a kind view with alternative seating options.



It is quite obvious that with a name like For the Love of Food, we love festival treats! We especially love our trucks at Field Trip, as many of them have been with us from the beginning. Every year we hand select the food vendors so that there is a wide variety of choices and selections for festival attendees.


The opportunity Jeffrey gave Jasmine with Field Trip was a dream come true and the beginning of For The Love Of Food. Thanks to him, we were able to turn playing with food, into a career. We are honored to be a part of this incredible, magical festival year after year.
